Juni & Juli animation from SFZ3

juni-juli-intro.gif (1470 bytes)Since they're more or less just like Cammy, you gotta love Juni and Juli, right?!  Metaphorically speaking, they're like sisters.  And in reality, Juni & Juli might actually be sisters.  All we really know is that they were kidnapped from Germany by Shadowloo, enhanced by biotechnology and brainwashed to become loyal soldiers in Vega's personal guard, the Dolls.  Anyhow, here are some pictures of the girls from Street Fighter Zero 3... (their only game so far)

*note* You might notice that all my screen shots are of player 2.... that's because player 1 Juni/Juli is backwards!  The brown armband is supposed to be on the left side, and the elbow pad on the right.

Juni's colors from SFZ3
This is a chart of Juni's SFZ3 colors.  The PS & DC versions are much better than the arcade version because you can actually pick your colors - 6 total.  The only way to pick your colors in the arcade SFZ3, was to change you -ism.  Also, you could only get the other 3 colors if the same -ism Juni was already selected by your opponent.

In case you're not familiar with the names of the SF buttons; Jab = weak punch, Strong = medium punch, Fierce = strong punch, Short = weak kick, Forward = medium kick, and Roundhouse = strong punch.

Juni's Punches & Kicks
Basically, Juni's kicks and punches are just like Cammy's, but there are a few differences.  However, Juni and Juli have the exact same animation when it comes to the basic punches and kicks.  Juni, Juli, and Cammy's fighting style is called "Special Forces", but that doesn't mean much.  Special Forces is basically just a 'homemade' fighting style of whatever works best.  Guile is also a Special Forces fighter, but his moves look nothing like theirs.   Juni, Juli, and Cammy's unique fighting style was probably developed by somebody at Shadowloo...

Basically, Juli's basic kicks and punches are just like Juli's, and only slightly different from Cammy's.  The fighting style is known as "Special Forces".  It's basically a mish-mash fighting style of different techniques.  Somebody at Shadowloo probably created this style just for the Dolls.   He/She incorporated a little bit of wrestling, kick-boxing, and other fighting styles that best fit the abilities of the Dolls.
